Presence is resistance.
Accompaniment is sacred.
Who We Are
Sacred Court Support (SCS) is a relationship-centered, interfaith accompaniment program, grounded in solidarity and a commitment to resisting systems of oppression. We train and organize volunteers to accompany and stand alongside immigrants during their court proceedings, offering presence, compassion, and care in an otherwise oppressive system built to isolate and dehumanize.
We are people of many faiths and of no faith, united by a shared commitment to human dignity, collective liberation, and the pursuit of justice.
Our work is not about fixing or saving, nor about force or violence. Rather, we prioritize presence, relationship-building, and showing up for our immigrant neighbors and friends with courage and consistency.
We believe that simply showing up is, in itself, a sacred act.
